Southwest Community Concert Band
The Southwest Community concert Band performs 4 Seasonal Concerts, Summer Park concerts and hosts Winter Band Day for grades 6th-9th, and a Summer Band Camp for 1st year band students through 9th grade musicians.

3rd Annual Summer Band Camp!
July 12-16
Join us for Summer Band Camp 2010! The Southwest Community Concert Band in conjunction with NazArts is offering this camp to first year school band students, junior high, middle school and incoming freshman band students. The instructors are highly qualified performers from the Chicago area. The goal of our Summer Band Camp program is to promote music education through a positive experience structured to help students develop their musical talents.

Music Library News
The Southwest Community Concert Band has been upgrading our musical library for many months and it is now complete. The Southwest Community Concert Board approved the funds for this huge project last summer. Thanks to Music Filing & Storage Systems the generosity of our loyal audience and the dedicated membership we have completed this project. Our librarian Terrry Sundberg would like to thank her great team for their hard work and commitment to completing this project.
